“Academia Nacional de Ingeniería” Prize


     The object of the “Academia Nacional de Ingeniería” Prize is to distinguish an engineer who has developed his professional activities in the country with an outstanding performance in his works, technical or scientific research, publications, or university teaching, in a field of engineering determined by the Academy in each case, and whose activity has become an exceptional contribution to the progress of the country reaching international significance, being considered as a lifetime award.

“Ing Enrique Butty” Prize


    The National Academy of Engineering created this prize to honour the memory of this brilliant argentine engineer. The object of this prize is to distinguish and incentive the author of a publication on civil engineering that has meant a contribution of special value for the advance of the specialty. The author will be an engineer graduated in an argentine university being younger than fifty years - old.

“Ing. Luis A. Huergo” Prize


    The National Academy of Engineering created this prize in the memory of Ing. Luis A. Huego, who was the first argentine engineer, graduated in the University of Buenos Aires, eminent public man and an exemplar citizen. The object of this prize is to distinguish the author of a work published or presented in a technical reunion of high relevance, as a personal contribution that shows creativity and of special merit for the advancement of engineering. The author will be younger than fifty years old and will be graduated in a University recognized by the Government.

“Ing. Luis V. Migone” Prize


    Ing. Luis V. Migone Prize was created from a legacy of whom was a Founding Member of this Academy. It is awarded for outstanding achievements that lead to important benefits in the field of urbanism. Candidates must be engineers or architects with a degree obtained from an argentine national University.

“Ing. Gerardo Lassalle” Prize


 

“Ing. Gerardo M. Lassalle” Award was created by the National Academy of Engineering to honor the memory of one of the Founding Members of the Institution, who was a renowned argentine engineer within the Industrial Engineering field. The prize is aimed to distinguish the professional activity and achievements in the innovation of technology path as well as in the development of human resources, accomplished by an industrial engineer in this country.

 Best Graduates from Engineering Careers of Argentine Universities” Prize


    The National Academy of Engineering instituted this prize to distinguish outstanding graduates at argentine universities. The candidates will be persons remarkable for their capability and dedication to their university studies, reaching an outstanding level of scientific and technical training recognized by their Universities and by the Academy. Prize given annually since 1993.
